India is an amazing, colorful country that has a lot to offer to the traveler. From sparking beaches to snowy mountains, India offers breathtaking beauty. India is also a great place to experience an intriguing culture that includes serenity and wisdom, as well as fun and festivals!
I recommend you take a tour of India when visiting this vast country. My favorite is a spiritual tour of India that will take you to temples and historic sites that help you to connect with all that India has to offer. You can also take a meditation or a yoga retreat in one of India´s many ashrams.
Perhaps the most well-known site in India is the Taj Mahal. This magnificent structure is one of the wonders of the world and should be included in your visit. It was originally constructed in memory of the third wife of a Mughal emperor and symbolizes love.
Varanasi is a very popular Hindu destination and is considered a holy city. It is believed by the Hindu people that the cycle of birth and rebirth will end for you if you die in this sacred place. You can also visit the site where Buddha is said to have given his first sermon in Sarnath.
Delhi is a wonderful and colorful city that has a lot to offer the tourist. Old Delhi is home to the Jama Masjid, a great mosque, and is a beautiful place to visit. A visit to Chandni Chowk, an ancient market is like entering another time as you experience the color and life of its people.
If you are looking to visit medieval Hindu temples, Khajuraho is an excellent choice. The Hindu dynasty constructed these spectacular temples around the 10th century. The temples in Khajuraho are most recognized because of the Kama Sutra scenes depicted in them.
India is home to some beautiful landscapes and impressive wildlife. In Ranthambore, you can visit the national park and enjoy a safari drive to experience the animals that live in the area. You can also visit the scrublands and lakes as you enjoy the beauty of nature in this spectacular place.
India is such a vast country, with so much history and culture that you cannot help but enjoy yourself there. You can opt for a culinary tour, a wildlife tour, a spiritual tour, or a yoga and meditation retreat in India. This diverse place is a wonderful experience that has something that appeals to everyone.
