Nothing can be as frustrating as finding your Xbox 360 non-functional when you want to play a few games. You have already spent a few hundred dollars and may you need to pay more to get the gadget fixed. In the recent time, problems with Xbox 360 are escalating, leading a buyer to think of alternate options than to send the machine for repair at a certified repair station. Fixing an Xbox 360 does not need you to be a rocket scientist and all can be done with the help of a few simple tools.
You will need a screw driver in order to open up your system, a clamp that will be used to put pressure on a specific area of the machine and possibly an air sprayer which is used to clean dust and dirt out of your hard drive. You should not attempt to fix your Xbox without these useful and necessary tools. To get started, you will need to open up your Xbox. This will allow you to have full access to all the parts of the system. You can do this by removing the large plate. Pull out the base of your system. Be gentle and careful when opening up your Xbox. When opening up your base, you should hear a clicking sound. There are a variety of fixes that can be performed on the Xbox 360.
For fixing an Xbox 360, the first step is to open the machine. To start with, the sizable base plate must be detached in order to get at the hardware inside. First, look around the machine’s base for a small hole, and using that hole, pull it out, and set it gently to the side. If it becomes necessary to take out the top or bottom plates, there are 6 holes along each side with clips that must be gently released in order to remove them. It is only possible to remove them when they emit a distinct clicking sound, which indicates that the plate’s clips have been released. If the problem with fixing an Xbox 360 is a simpler one, such as jammed game disc, it is only required to detach the face plate. For removing a disc, trying using a small object, such as a paperclip to press in the manual release button. Adjacent to the disc reader, there are two large holes, and the location of the disc determines which button that needs to be pressed.
