I do remember the day most of the time, when I shifted to my new house (I am still dwelling in the same house). Everything was ready and I just had to purchase wall lights and floor lamps. I thought it would be an easy job, but it was so tiresome that I can not even explain you. My all family members were having different views on the room lighting system. My wife, my two children and I were on the mission wall light and floor lamp. The first foremost thing was money or the budget we had, before starting from house I told my family members about my budget, as it proved a right step ahead because after reaching there in the shop of light and fixtures we were stunned by the beauty of the different wall lights and floor lamps.
Generally a wide range of things gives us a nice feeling but the problems are with the members, if more persons are involved in purchasing any thing then it becomes a confusing act. My elder daughter wanted a floral design in wall lights in her room but my adamant wife wanted was strict to the round shaped wall light. My son wanted his room filled with kite shaped wall lights and on the other hand I wanted to have square shaped lighting for his room. At last the battle was won by my daughter and my son and they succeeded in purchasing the wall lights they wanted.
Floor lamps were looking too attractive they were throwing the beam of light upwards and were looking great. I selected an antique light system for the flooring but my family was insisting me to purchase modernized designs. Then we took the suggestion from the shopkeeper and discussed about which floor lamps to be bought. Even though majority in my family members was in favor of modern designs still the shopkeeper told us to purchase antique lighting system and all my family members had to agree to the point, as the furniture of the house was also antique.
After purchasing wall lights and floor lamps we saw our pocket. Thank god we were able to manage everything in the budget even we managed to save money for ice creams too and enjoyed the ice-cream in different flavors. The confusion was now over and I was satisfied that every one is happy and has given his views in purchasing something for our new home. Even today we all laugh at the moments and enjoy them.
