It can be very difficult to find a good maids for house cleaning service. So many companies spring up out of nowhere, and finding a company whose employees will respect you, your possessions, and your home while being affordable is hard. There are a few things to keep in mind when looking for a house cleaning service that may make it a bit easier to make your decision. The very first decision to make is what type of service you want to hire. You can hire an independent NJ maid that works for herself, a company that sub-contracts cleaning staff, or a professional house cleaning service company who employees maids directly. There are pros and cons to each type of service. NJ maid who work independently will often be less expensive than established companies, but may not be insured or have passed background clearances. Housekeeping services companies usually do run background checks and drug screens on their employees, but often cost much more and require you to sign a contract.
Before you even begin making phone calls, you should sit down with your partner or roommate(s) to figure out exactly what you expect out of the housekeeping services you hire. The most obvious question, of course, is the frequency of service. Do you want someone to come on a daily basis, or every other day? Many NJ maid company also offer weekly or monthly services, as well, for clients who can keep up with general day-to-day tasks by themselves but would like help with bigger chores, such as shampooing carpets or washing windows. You can also hire a housekeeping services on an on-call basis, meaning that instead of coming out in regularly scheduled intervals, you call them when you need their help. It is also important that you know which time of day you want them to come. Do you prefer them to come during the day, while you are working, so that you can come home to a clean house? Or would you rather them come in the evening so that you are home?
Once you set up an interview with a potential house cleaning service, be sure to ask lots of questions. Don’t be afraid to write down their answers so that you can remember them later when comparing interviewees. Are you going to be expected to provide your own cleaning supplies, or will they bring them? What will happen if something is broken by them or one of their employees? If the cleaning schedule falls on a holiday, what will happen? What if you are not satisfied with the job they do? Make a list of these questions and any others that come to mind. Asking the right questions to the maids company can make your decision much easier.
