When you think of a warm cozy house, you instantly get the image of a dim light, with wood sticks burning in a chimney, a pot of soup on heat a couch nearby with a book or newspaper on the coffee table. This is not hard to imagine, almost everyone has a picture of what is described. All we need is a bit of energy in the house and are more purpose specific in its usage.
Let’s face the fact, not everyone who talks about going green cares about the environment. It’s what suits their need. What's going to get you to do whatever you can to make your home the way you want it? It happened before and it still does happen that kids are asked to close the doors when its chilling winters and scorching summers, to turn off all lights and electrical appliances when not in use, not to open the door of refrigerator for too long.
If you are thinking you still follow these rules and follow energy efficient rules, then you are not completely right.
