Dealing with termites can be a huge headache, but for you it doesn’t have to be. As termites are such an annoyance and a problem in most households there have been many steps that have been taking in finding ways to get rid of the irritants. These steps have leaded us to the many products on the market that are used in the eradication of termites at home or by professionals. Though there are many different product for you to chose from, all that is important is truly the two different types of products usually found in the market; Termite sprays and termite Bait. These two products are very useful in removing termites from your home and will serve you well if used correctly.
TERMITE SPRAYS
Termite sprays must always be broken down into two categories; Contact and Residual. Contact sprays are the first kind of spray an easy to use fast acting type of spray that kills insects on contact. This spray uses a powerful and quick insecticide that is good for quickly incapacitating the insects and can only be used against insects that you can see as they do not last long after you spray them. Residual sprays are the exact opposite. They have weaker insecticide however their insecticide last a great deal longer, and it is not used to kill the insects per say, but more to repel them from an area. This isn’t to say that these sprays cannot kill an insect because that is entirely possible, just not necessary.
TERMITE BAIT
Termite bait is a easy way to rid you home of termites that are living in it. Termite Bait is much like residual insecticide but is used in a completely different way. These baits are put out for the insects to not only eat themselves, but also to take back home to their families for them to eat as well. The bait station works on the premise that the pests works as a family unit, and therefore insects like termites are perfect for use against.
CONCLUSION
Termites are a nuisance that you must get out of your house at any and all cost, and the cost of waiting can be higher than you expect. To avoid that harsh reality, it is best to simply pick up one of these products from either online or at one of the home improvement stores and take care of the problem personally, you’ll be glad you did.
