Crysis 3 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Crytek for Microsoft Windows, PS 3, and Xbox 360. Revealed by Electronic Arts this game is the third main installment of the Crysis series, and a sequel to the 2011 video game Crysis 2, and it will run on the CryEngine 3 game engine.

The New York Liberty Dome is now a veritable urban rainforest full of overgrown trees, dense swamplands and raging wild rivers. Within the Liberty Dome, seven distinct and treacherous environments are known now as the Seven Wonders. Set in 2047 (so it is 24 years after Crysis 2 plot), Prophet is said to be on a trully hard revenge mission just after uncovering the truth behind Cell's motives for building the quarantined Nanodomes. The citizens of the New York City were told that the giant citywide structures were found to protect the population of the city and to cleanse metropolises of the remnants of Ceph forces. Finds out that in reality, the Nanodomes are CELL's covert attempt at a land and technology grab in their mission for global domination.

An alpha version of the multiplayer Crysis 3 video game was released to selected MyCrysis and Origin users on October 31, 2012. In the alpha version they were able to explore one map - Museum, and one game mode - Crash Site. The test begun on 2nd November at 08:00 Pacific Time and ended on 9th November at 23:59 Pacific Time.
