Ever sit down and muse over your treasured pictures? Perhaps you enjoy the momentous country shots you took at the mountain slopes of a winter vacation. Maybe they are in a green meadow where you gathered wildflowers. Or you relish the memories of the photos of you and your children exploring the big red barn on a rural farm.

Wouldn't it be a lot better and more romantic to have these cherished photographs displayed prominently in your home for everyone to see and appreciate? There are practically a thousand and one ways to display your photographs these days! The possibilities are almost boundless, and you can run your imagination wild in doing so.

Framed Photographs

The traditional way to show off your photographs is to place them in beautiful frames of your choice. Then you can either hang them on a prominent place on the wall or place them on choice surfaces, like tabletops and shelves.

When putting up a group of pictures, it is a good idea to first lay them down on the floor and do mental compositions on the group of pictures. Move them around first in order to conceptualize a story. Then arrange them in order prior to hanging them on the wall or placing them on the chosen surfaces.

Photos on the Wall

The practical way to install your framed pictures is right at around eye-level for maximum comfort and ease by the viewer. And did you know? Odd-numbered pictures in groups are more appealing than an even-numbered set-up!

The standard way is to hang your picture frames with a picture hanger or wire on the back of your picture. However, you can use your imagination and creativity and use ribbons, for instance, making bows and loops across and over the frames and even make groups of pictures intertwined with ribbons and lace for more beautiful arrangements.

Staircase Displays

If you have a staircase at home, that's an ideal place to set up your picture frames. Here, you are not limited to a straight line in arranging your photographs. These can be arranged following the stairs, in an ascending order.

With the effect of traveling upwards, you can make an exciting statement. The staircase can also be made into some sort of theme wall, like for instance a birthday wall, grouping together birthday pictures of the family members.

Furniture Arrangements

Pictures can be put up on almost all surfaces, like atop a fireplace, on the piano, dressers, coffee tables and side tables… the television and on top of shelves. Just remember to have a composition or a storyline for the arrangement of your photographs.

You can also combine a few accessories like vases or figurines with your set of pictures and create an eye catching table arrangement. Flower arrangements and other knickknacks go well with framed photos.

Creative Fun

When you've finally got your country pictures all arranged in frames around your home, you'll be ready to really start enjoying your own photos. Be creative, let it be fun, and soon everyone will be thrilled with your photos, too!
