Plumbing leaks can occur at any time in your home. There are obvious leaks and then those others that you don't realize you even have that can end up costing a lot of money.

There are some signs that you can look for in your home to make sure you don't have any hidden leaks going on. Some of the signs are; if you can hear a continuous drip or noise when nothing is on, you water meter shows changes when you don't think you are using any water in the home or outside, if you water bills rise suddenly, and if your can start smelling musty smells or odors in your home.

A leak can happen anywhere in your home where there is running water or pipes. It is so important to watch for them so that you don't end up spending even more money if goes from a mere leak to a ruptured pipe.

The main leaks that happen more frequently are, sink leak, faucet leak, toilet leak, bathroom leak, dishwasher leak, washing machine leak, kitchen leak, laundry room leak, septic tank leak, sewer main leak, hose bib leak, and sprinkler leak. These are places that we are pass by daily and should be able to check up on easily.

There are some others that tend to be more hidden though. You can find others behind walls, under concrete and asphalt, landscaping, roofs, and basements.

These others go more unnoticed. If you think you might be experiencing a leak try to check it out yourself. If you still have questions or concerns call a trusted plumber in your area.

Don't ignore these signs. Watch your bills, meter, and pipes to make sure that everything is working or looks normal. Ignoring these problems, or saying that they can wait is what usually leads them to be more expensive after you've left them for a while.

Remember, if you wait too long to check out your pipes or have a trusted professional do it, you might just be spending more money in the long run to get it fixed.
