Young students looking for places to stay can be both an intimidating as well as a pleasurable experience. The freedom can sometimes come at a huge cost and so students should be extra careful while looking for rentals. There are many landlords who conscienceless, crafty and sly, who are always in the lookout for the deposit money. While some University towns lack in accommodation options, there are many properties that are also not affordable for the students.
The properties are marketed via many channels. Other than the college bulletin boards and websites, even the local newspaper advertises the available property. Information can also be found out by the students Union offices about the property, landlord and their accreditation.
After getting the required information about the property, the tenants should have knowledge of the types of letting that they can choose from. From shared accommodation options to sharing of bills in Houses of Multiple Occupancy, the students can chose what is best suited to them and their pockets. Another option is of Lodging or paying guest, where the tenant stays with the house owner’s family.
Usually the rent is £60 per week but it also depends on the area. But the students should be aware of the facilities that will be included or excluded like laundry, food etc. There is also a deposit that needs to be paid. Other option is to ask Pure Lettings about the "No Deposit" scheme that they offer.
While deciding on a property the students should keep in mind the various factors like location and the surrounding neighbourhood or locality. Other than this, the students should also be aware of the rules and safety certificates that are needed. The licences like the TV licence and others should also be checked. In deciding a house mate, the tenant should also do some reference checks and choose them wisely.
Pure Letting is letting agents of the Norwich, Fakenham area. They also have some benefits for students who are tenants. As agents they do all the needful, like background checks, inspection etc of the property. They also make sure that the property is according to the requirement of the student. Pure Lettings ensures that the rental amount is according to the property and abides by the ANUK code of standard.
The Pure Letting employees are all University educated and therefore understand the needs of the student. Every year, students enrol with Pure Lettings so that they get the best property deals. Even landlords, who are eager for students as their tenants, book themselves with the Company. Pure letting has understood the changing time. Higher and better standards for living are now more emphasized upon. The Company has moulded accordingly, providing accommodation solutions for students but according to their needs and wants.
